Purpose for the Robin

Unfortunately even our respectable hobby is being infiltrated by those of questionable moral values, some people think it is OK to use Exchange clubs as a method of acquiring stamps, without actually parting with any. I haven't received any reports of that happening here on the StampSwapClub, but never the less, I thought it would be sensible to create some protection any way.

How the Robin Works

Each participant will send a packet of stamps to StampSwapClub, who will then return a packet that was sent in by another randomly chosen participant. This system works because it automatically excludes anybody who is not prepared to send in any stamps.

Rules of the Robin

Packets must be Glassine or Similar and you must write on your name and address as well as which Robin you wish to participate in.

Packets must not contain duplicated stamps.

Stamps within the packet must qualify (See Types of Robin) . Contents of packets will be checked and counted by StampSwapClub Staff to ensure compliance. You may include a want list, but this must be no more than 1 sheet of A4. Do not include photos of your family and pets, (This is a STAMP robin, not a Family ScrapBook one)

Condition.

Unless otherwise stated all stamps will be in good condition and off paper. No ripped or torn. Post marks on used stamps will be light to medium. Mint stamps will be unmounted.

Packets which contain ripped stamps etc will be returned to sender without being swapped.

1. 30 different stamps of the world (used)
2. 100 used stamps  (one country)
3. 100 used stamps (20 each from 5 different countries)
4. 500 used stamps (100 each from 5 different countries)
5. Mint Sets (Coming Soon!)

How to Join

StampSwapClub robins have been temporarily suspended. We are currently looking at new ways to restore the program and keep it free.
